Dr. Jodian Pinkney

Dr. Jodian Pinkney

Dr. Jodian Pinkney is an Infectious Diseases (ID) physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She earned her MBBS and DM from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica, and subsequently served as the Clinical Coordinator for the Center for HIV/AIDS, Research and Education Services (CHARES)—an urban specialized clinic catering to the third-largest cohort of People Living with HIV in Jamaica. Dr. Pinkney furthered her training with an Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina, serving as Chief Resident, before starting her ID training in the Massachusetts General Brigham ID fellowship program in 2020. Most recently, she completed her Master of Public Health in Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health and the Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Minority Health Policy at Harvard University in 2024. Her research focuses on promoting equitable distribution and uptake of preventive health measures for ID-related conditions, including maternal vaccination and HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis. Dr. Pinkney's work has been published in high-impact journals such as the Annals of Internal Medicine, and she has received numerous awards, including the 2023 Massachusetts Infectious Diseases Society Maxwell Finland Award for excellence in research. Additionally, she has a strong track record for securing grant funding, most recently becoming a subrecipient of the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) supplemental funding for vaccine hesitancy.

Dr. Lisa Hurlock

Dr. Lisa Hurlock

Dr. Lisa Hurlock is a Consultant Cardiologist at Premier Heart and Surgery Centre in Kingston, Jamaica. She is the Chief Medical Officer at Guardian Life Limited Jamaica and Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies. She has over 15 years’ experience as a Consultant Internist and Cardiologist at the University Hospital of the West Indies. Dr. Hurlock holds a MBBS and DM in Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of The West Indies and Fellowship in Cardiology from the University of Toronto. Her robust skill set includes echocardiography, Transoesophageal echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Tamra Tomlinson Morris

Dr. Tamra Tomlinson Morris

Dr. Tamra Tomlinson Morris is a Consultant Paediatrician and Cardiologist in the Department of Medicine and Division of Paediatric Cardiology at the Bustamante Hospital for Children. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at the renowned Royal Brompton Hospital in London. She has expertise in the management of acute and chronic Paediatric cardiac pathology in a resource-challenged setting. She extends her reach by travelling regularly outside of Kingston to assist with patient care. Dr. Tomlinson Morris has been an Associate Lecturer in Paediatrics at the University of the West Indies and is a transformative past president of the Paediatric Association of Jamaica.

Dr. Kathy Pate Robinson

Dr. Kathy Pate Robinson

After completing her MBBS at the University of the West Indies (UWI) and Internship in Jamaica and the Bahamas, Dr. Kathy-Ann Pate-Robinson did her training as a Wellness Specialist in Japan in 2007 and has subsequently completed her DM in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the UWI.

She is currently a Consultant & Associate Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the University Hospital of the West Indies where she manages the clinical services at C.H.A.R.E.S. and sits on the Institution’s COVID Task Force. She is a member of a number of learned societies, including the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the HIV Medical Association, the International Society of Infectious Diseases and the Medical Association of Jamaica. The subject of her research studies includes Sickle Cell Hepatopathy, Sepsis and Chikungunya.

She is married with 2 rambunctious boys and is an avid reader and foodie.
